Named after the English county of Buckinghamshire or more accurately, its abbreviation, Bucks County, PA is renowned for its gorgeous natural scenery, rambling farmland, quaint covered bridges, historic barns, abundance of gardens and nature preserves, colonial history, and close proximity (all less than 2 hours away) to major urban centers, like Philadelphia, NYC, Allentown, Reading as well as Atlantic City. While we don’t have time to list all the amazing wedding venues in Bucks County, PA, here are a few that are truly exceptional!

Historic Stonebrook Farm

The gorgeous Historic Stonebrook Farm was originally built in 1837, and has been owned by the Tyson family since 1859. In its past life, Stonebrook Farm was used as a working dairy farm, until the late 70’s when the dairy cows were sold and the future of the farm was uncertain.  We’re happy to say that William Scott Tyson and his wife Barbara were able to acquire the farm in 1981  through their family and have continued the process of restoring and maintaining it.

The property offers picturesque outdoor ceremony locations, a fully insulated, heated and air conditioned barn that can accommodate up to 170 guests, yard games, rustic decor, a fire pit, lanterns, a bridal suite, rolling fields and gorgeous trees, as well as a Bridal swing in the meadow. Dreamy!

Durham Hill Farm

When we think of Durham Hill Farm a few things come to mind: gorgeous countryside, rustic elegance, historic architecture, with modern amenities. The barn stands proudly amidst a newly renovated horse boarding and riding facility, and in addition to the barn, the farm also has an outdoor ceremony area with a beautiful meadow backdrop, as well as a carriage house and granary; all of which will be available to you if you host your wedding at Durham Hill.

Another huge bonus of booking your wedding at Durham Hill Farm is their extensive catalog of extras onsite, and unlike many similar venues, your contract with Durham Hill Farm guarantees the exclusive use of Durham Hill Farm and all those extras – including being able to use their 1923 Ford Model T farm truck for photos – throughout your event for one transparent fee. You will not be nickeled and dimed at Durham Hill Farms!

HollyHedge Estate

The HollyHedge Estate has a long history. In the late 1780s Watson Fell began construction on some of the buildings that are still the heart of the estate today. Then for over a century the property passed down within the Fells Family from one generation to the next.

But, today, HollyHedge Estate is owned and run by the Luccaro family and their three sons. The family has embraced the unique history of the estate, and are aspiring to preserve HollyHedge for future generations to enjoy, and as such they continue to rebuild and preserve the many distinct features of the estate, including the gorgeous and quaint 18 room Inn.

The Estate can accommodate stylish, outdoor cocktail style parties in the garden, or a more formal sit-down dinner affairs in their classic barn, and work with their fantastic in-house and award winning catering team to create inspired seasonal dishes, featuring ingredients from local growers and suppliers. It really is something to see, so we suggest you investigate further! Your dream wedding might just take place at HollyHedge Estate!
