DJ Freddie Fred recently lit up our dance floor at our wedding. I mean, everyone was on the dance floor. The variety of music appealed to everyone and he was very good about reading the audience. Everyone kept coming to us and telling us that our DJ was “fire” and to us, that was very important. Our guests had a fabulous time and so did we. Memorable, for sure. Would highly recommend him, he did a phenomenal job. Thank you Freddie!

Erik was fantastic! He was everything we wanted in a DJ and then some. Our ceremony went off without a hitch and reception dance floor stayed crowded throughout the night.

Freddie, our DJ was awesome, can’t say enough nice things about him. Very professional and patient with us as we tend to procrastinate at times. From first contact through the day of the wedding., they were very responsive and on top of things. Listening to what we wanted and making suggestions we hadn’t even thought about, making my daughters wedding even more special. I even had several wedding guests saying it was the best and most fun wedding they had ever been to. Great value too!!!

Totally perfect! Erik came prepared, listened to our requests, was professional but laid back, and did an awesome job researching playlists that fit what we wanted. He mic’d our officiant and had an extra mic that came in handy when things got a little spotty passing the 1st one around. Amazing DJ, affordable, and the dance floor was hoppin ALL NIGHT.

To say that Ryan did a great job is an understatement. Ryan literally saved our wedding day! We hired a violinist to cover the ceremony and cocktail hour. 5 minutes before we are about to head out we got the worst news. The violinist never showed up and when we call her she says “OMG its Saturday?” Just as the panic started to set in Ryan shows up early! We told him our situation and he takes down our songs for the ceremony and says “give me 15 minutes”. 15 minutes later we head out and it was the perfect ceremony! We were all so impressed by how smoothly everything went given the amount of pressure. The reception was amazing and Ryan played the perfect song at the perfect times. There is no way we could thank Dow Oak Events more. They saved our wedding day from being a catastrophic mess!

Graham Blossom was our DJ and he absolutely knocked the whole situation out of the park. They were responsive, organized, and absolutely the best DJ company we could’ve worked with to make our beautiful wedding come to life. Thank you so much for all that you do and what you did for us.

Erik and Dow Oak were a Godsend. At the actual wedding, Erik read the crowd wonderfully and got them up and dancing whenever we wanted or whenever things were getting slow. When it came to the pacing and scheduled music everything played exactly when it was supposed to with no issues. One thing we especially liked during the reception was how Erik blended the music together. It wasn’t just a swap from one song to another but a really nice blending of songs with one bleeding into another. I’ve seen a lot of DJs just act like a glorified shuffled playlist but Erik actually worked the songs and made them lead into each other. And to top it all off, he was incredibly affordable.
I would give Erik a 15 out of 10 if possible.

Dow Oak and DJ Erik were fantastic to work with for our wedding! Their planning tools and communication prior to the event were extensive and left nothing to chance. We really appreciated knowing that all bases had been covered well before the wedding day. DJ Erik was fantastic at reading the crowd and responding with the music he played. There were times where most of our guests were outside playing lawn games rather than inside on the dance floor, but DJ Erik was never overbearing in trying to get people back to the dance floor. But he also never stopped playing awesome music! We couldn’t be happier with our choice to book Dow Oak Events for our wedding.
