Erik and Dow Oak were a Godsend. At the actual wedding, Erik read the crowd wonderfully and got them up and dancing whenever we wanted or whenever things were getting slow. When it came to the pacing and scheduled music everything played exactly when it was supposed to with no issues. One thing we especially liked during the reception was how Erik blended the music together. It wasn’t just a swap from one song to another but a really nice blending of songs with one bleeding into another. I’ve seen a lot of DJs just act like a glorified shuffled playlist but Erik actually worked the songs and made them lead into each other. And to top it all off, he was incredibly affordable.
I would give Erik a 15 out of 10 if possible.

Ryan was amazing a lot improv happened that night that night and the dj was very accommodating. The dance floor was full even though it was a small wedding the dj managed to get the party started. And they played Spanish super smooth. This bride was happy.

Erik did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding! We hired him sort of last minute as our other DJ fell through, but I am SO GLAD that we found him! He worked with me tirelessly before the wedding to make sure he knew what songs we wanted to be played. I was even texting him last-minute corrections on the day of the wedding, and he responded quickly and calmly – two VERY important things for a bride! He did a great job “reading the crowd,” and kept us all dancing long into the night. Several of my friends remarked that the dance floor stayed crowded all night, and even went as far as to say that it was the best dance party at a wedding that they’d been to. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with Erik’s services and would not hesitate to hire him again!

This was the easiest review yet! I can’t say enough great things about Freddie. A DJ sets the mood for your event and he made our wedding reception everything we asked for and dreamed of! He kept everyone engaged and the dance floor was packed all night! I definitely recommend Freddie!

Working with Dow Oak Events was a breeze! They were super communicative and use a planning platform that gave me peace of mind. I spoke with Freddie a couple times before the wedding and had no doubt that he would keep things running smoothly.
