Seriously, Dow Oak and specifically Freddie were INCREDIBLE. One month before the big day and our previously booked DJ BAILED! Dow Oak emailed back almost immediately after the inquiry and within two days we had banged out a contract and gotten the ball rolling- crisis adverted! I cannot say enough about the outstanding communication of the company! The week before the wedding Freddie reached out to firm up our plans and meet for a face to face, normal run of the mill stuff. NOTHING could have prepared us for what a rockstar he would be the day of. Not only was he a GREAT DJ and a super sweet human, he was valuable (and willing!) set of hands when it started pouring rain five minutes before the outdoor ceremony. He was flexible and extremely accommodating.

DJ Ryan was so easy to work with! He was prompt, flexible, and supportive of our tastes and preferences. Dow Oak Events was within our budget, provided a lot of support and helpful items within their client portal, and very easy to work with as far as payment and planning. We were very pleased with our choice and would recommend them to others.

Erik was awesome! His planning sheet he sent out beforehand helped with my planning and made sure everything was covered (even things I hadn’t thought about). He was also very flexible, we were originally not doing toasts during the reception, but due to some things happening we had to squeeze them in. He was happy to help and went with the flow of things and guests weren’t even aware of our error/last minute changes. During our meeting we talked about music that we liked and that I knew my friends enjoyed and he did a great job feeding off of the crowd to know which song would be a hit next! The lighting and setup worked and looked great with our venue. Thanks Erik for helping make our special day so fun!

The DJ we had did her job perfectly! She even went above and beyond to go around and let tables know when they could go up to the buffet. At one point there was a change of schedule and she just smoothly went a long with it! Thank you for helping us make our big day awesome!

Affordable and Excellent Results. DJ Ryan emceed our wedding and did an incredible job reading the guests and keeping everyone moving all night! He was patient during the process leading up to the wedding and worked with us when we were a bit behind our deadline for everything. Very affordable, very personal service. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience with Dow Oaks from the moment I booked them. I was seriously impressed with the speediness of their responses to every question I had. They have you fill out a form so that they know your music taste and requests for the wedding. Music was one of the more important details of the wedding for my husband, and he was very pleased. They even call before the wedding to make sure they have the details and name pronunciations correct. DJ Erok was awesome! Our timeline ran behind but he still made sure that we got some good dancing in, which was important to me! The dance floor lighting really set the mood too. Everyone had a blast at our wedding! Awesome DJ! Dow Oak Events is the way to go! Out of all the vendors that I worked with for my wedding, they were the most responsive and flexible. Graham was so great, he kept the party going all night long! What a great group of people! Graham drove all the way to Raleigh and was set up earlier than expected and even started the music early. We were so thrilled!

Working with Dow Oak Events was a breeze! They were super communicative and use a planning platform that gave me peace of mind. I spoke with Freddie a couple times before the wedding and had no doubt that he would keep things running smoothly. On the day of, he arrived early to set up, made sure he knew how to pronounce everyone’s names, and kept the party going all night! I had a blast singing and dancing the night away 🙂

Erik was absolutely phenomenal. He was extremely helpful, insightful, and all around a great person to work with. If you want someone who will help to create a smooth, dynamic, and incredibly fun wedding, HE IS YOUR GUY. He went the extra mile in everything he did. He did everything we asked and more.
