The Space
Wildberry Farm sits on 39 acres in Marion, South Carolina, with deep historical roots. The land was originally granted to James Godbold by the King of England on May 7, 1788, consisting of 730 acres. William Atkinson purchased 200 acres on September 7, 1844, on the Run of the Little Reedy Creek. The Atkinson family farmed the land for corn, cotton, vegetables, and tobacco until 1998. The farm was established as a wedding and event venue in 2013 and is now owned by Nolan and Ashlee Scarborough. A 9,300 square foot white reception barn anchors the property, featuring 160 white Chiavari chairs, antique barnwood bars, and wrought-iron chandeliers. The 5,200 square foot chapel with glass backdrop was added in 2024, alongside a new waterfront ceremony area with fountain.
In 2025, the bridal cottage and groom’s lounge were added, each featuring 5 queen beds, full kitchen, dining, lounge, and 8 individual pamper stations. The property can accommodate up to 54 overnight guests in its on-site accommodations, making it an ideal destination wedding venue. The restored Atkinson House is available as a ceremony venue, adding historic character to the celebration.
Capacity & Layout
Wildberry Farm accommodates up to 400 seated guests in the reception barn. The barn features two covered porches extending the usable space, with climate control for year-round comfort. The chapel provides a separate venue option for ceremonies with its glass backdrop and modern design. The waterfront ceremony pond with fountain creates an additional outdoor option. The Atkinson House provides historical character for intimate ceremonies or photos.
The layout allows for a full-day flow: ceremony at the chapel or pond, photos on the grounds, cocktails on the barn’s porches, and dinner and dancing in the barn. Parking with attendants is included, and the 39-acre setting means ample grounds for guest arrival and movement between spaces. Wheelchair accessibility and ADA compliant restrooms are provided throughout.

Wildberry Farm includes a fully equipped commercial kitchen with prep station, refrigeration, cake refrigeration, microwave, warmers, oven, and ice machine. The two antique barnwood bars and separate bar area with refrigerator and sink allow for full liquor service. Tables, chairs, and linens are included in the venue package. The bridal cottage and groom’s lounge come fully furnished with bedrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and individual pamper stations for hair and makeup preparation.
Overnight accommodations across the cottage, lounge, and loft (one-bedroom house) can sleep 54 guests. On-site staff provide hospitality support during the event. Built-in lighting, including wrought-iron chandeliers, and climate control throughout the barn create the ambiance without additional rental needs.
