White Plains Golf Club is built around an 18-hole championship course designed by Ed Riccoboni, opened in 1968, and it still carries that older-school golf architecture: generous landing areas off the tees rather than the tight, penal design newer courses tend toward. The clubhouse and event facility were newly built in 2025, giving the property a modern events venue set against a course with more than fifty years of history.

That newer facility totals over 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor entertainment space, built specifically to host events rather than retrofitted from an old pro shop or member lounge. We have worked here, and the combination, a mature golf course as the view and a brand-new building for the event itself, gives a wedding here a different feel than either a pure country club or a purely new construction venue.

The course itself plays 6,361 yards from the longest tees, a par 72 with a slope rating of 127, and its bentgrass greens and walker-friendly layout, with only a few steps between green and the next tee, mean the grounds stay in playable, groomed condition for photos even outside of a tournament. That upkeep matters for a wedding using the course as a backdrop rather than just the clubhouse.

With over 50,000 square feet split between indoor and outdoor entertainment space, the facility has enough room to separate a ceremony area from the reception without everything happening in one undivided hall.
