The Space
The Vintage opened in 2020, during the pandemic, inside what was once the auto body shop belonging to Michael Jordan’s father, reimagined by a team of hospitality veterans into an upscale private membership lounge in Charlotte’s South End. The bones of the building carry that history, but the space itself is now built around a full bar, a walk-in humidor and a kitchen, laid out for an evening of drinks, cigars and conversation rather than a working garage.
The Members Only lounge includes a conference room, a spacious main bar area, an indoor smoking lounge, and a large patio, with two garage doors that open to connect the patio directly to the indoor lounge. That connection matters for an event: it means an engagement party or rehearsal dinner can flow between indoor and outdoor space rather than being confined to one room, with the doors letting a host expand the footprint on a nice evening.
Capacity & Layout
