The Space

What began as Hyatt Haven Ranch, bought in 2018 with plans for a dude ranch that never quite fit the land, became Seven Paths Manor once visitors kept saying the property was too beautiful for that use; the family pivoted and built a wedding venue instead across more than 130 acres of landscaped grounds and water features. Owner Shayla, the oldest of five siblings, now runs it with her family.

The reception pavilion is a purpose-built, climate-controlled space with high ceilings, billowing drapery, and DJ lights and a sound system already wired in, so the room a couple dances in was designed around exactly that use rather than repurposed from something else. The Manor House itself holds five private bedroom suites, eight bedrooms in total, including a bath with a 12-jet custom shower and another with a garden tub.

Capacity & Layout

Seated capacity runs up to 200, with standing capacity quoted between 15 and 300 depending on layout, and the venue offers eight distinct outdoor ceremony sites, among them an oversized gazebo set in the middle of a pond and a tree-lined dam, so a couple is choosing a ceremony backdrop from real, different options rather than one fixed spot. The reception always moves into the covered pavilion regardless of which ceremony site is picked.

Tables and chairs are provided in two chair styles with round and rectangular tables up to 200 guests, and an 18-by-18 dance floor is included with the rental, with the option to rent a larger one from a preferred vendor if the guest count calls for it. Because the pavilion is fully covered, it also works as a rain plan for the ceremony itself, not just the reception.

Amenities

On-site accommodation covers the whole wedding weekend: the Manor House sleeps 25 to 40 depending on package, a separate Couples Cottage holds up to 15, and a City Lodge holds up to 10, so a couple can house the wedding party and close family on the property instead of coordinating hotel blocks. Four oversized golf carts with 23 total seats shuttle guests, wedding parties, and vendors across the grounds.

Couples get access to the Something Borrowed Collection, thousands of decor items included at no additional cost, and there are no food or bar minimums, so a wedding can be catered by an outside vendor or the couple’s own choice rather than a required in-house kitchen. A licensed, insured bar vendor is still required if alcohol is served, and the venue asks for at least one million dollars in event liability insurance no later than 30 days before the wedding.

Location & Getting There

Seven Paths Manor sits in Spring Hope, roughly 35 to 37 miles east of Raleigh, with RDU as the nearest airport and shuttle service available from there for out-of-town guests. It is an exclusive-use venue, one wedding per day with the team’s full attention, and day-only rentals run for 10 hours starting whenever a couple chooses, though not past 11pm, with early access for the bridal party at 9am at no extra cost.

Music has to come down to an elevator level by 10pm and wrap by 10:30, with extra charges for going past that, so the DJ’s night has a firm endpoint to plan the last songs around. The pavilion’s climate control, high ceilings, and built-in DJ lights and sound system mean a lot of the audio infrastructure is already in the room, which lets a DJ focus on the mix rather than fighting the space.
