The Space
Michelle Santanello spent years as the top recommended florist at Weddings of Distinction properties, dating back to 2004, and as lead designer at Ed Libby and Co. in New York, before turning her own 10-acre estate in West Creek into Evernore Manor, a 10,000 square foot Victorian property built specifically around weddings rather than a general hall retrofitted for them.
Inside, the estate keeps its original character: tin ceilings, wooden trim, and French Provincial furnishings run through the ballroom and the parlors, and the ballroom’s own chairs are French Provincial as well, so the reception room and its seating share the same design language rather than mismatched rental pieces. A speakeasy game room gives the groom’s party its own separate space, tucked away from the more formal rooms used for the ceremony and reception.
Capacity & Layout
The ballroom seats up to 100 guests, which keeps Evernore Manor in the range of a couple planning an intimate to medium-sized wedding rather than a large one, and the venue leans into that scale directly with all-inclusive micro wedding packages built for groups under 50. Five guest suites on site sleep up to 10 people overnight, so a meaningful share of the wedding party, not just the couple, can actually stay where the wedding happens.
Access runs up to 22 hours, including the overnight stays, which is long enough to cover a full weekend arc: setup, getting ready, ceremony, reception and a slower morning after rather than a hard checkout the same night. Ceremonies can go indoors in the ballroom, under the tin ceilings and French Provincial chairs, or outdoors in the secret garden, which gives a couple a real weather option without changing venues entirely.
Amenities
The bridal suite has its own private entrance and porch, along with a built-in salon for hair and makeup, so the getting-ready portion of the day happens in a dedicated space rather than a converted bedroom. Multiple parlors and wrap-around porches give guests places to spread out before and after the ceremony, and the tin ceilings and wooden trim throughout keep that same historic character in every room, not just the ballroom.
Because Michelle Santanello’s own background is in floral design, from her years at Ed Libby and Co. in New York to her recommended-florist standing at Weddings of Distinction properties since 2004, the property’s own aesthetic runs through the space already, which is worth knowing for a couple deciding how much additional design work a room like this actually needs.
Location & Getting There
Evernore Manor sits in West Creek, on the South Jersey shore side, close enough to Long Beach Island that out-of-town guests can extend a wedding weekend into a beach trip without much extra driving. The property backs directly onto Cedar Creek, which gives the secret garden ceremony site a real natural backdrop rather than a planted one.
The estate’s mix of indoor parlors and outdoor garden means a DJ setup has to account for two different acoustics on the same day: the ballroom’s tin ceilings and wood trim carry sound differently than the open garden by Cedar Creek, so equipment placement and timing shift depending on whether the ceremony and reception both happen indoors or split between the two settings.
