The Space
Cedar Creek Ranch was established as a family farm in 2015 and converted to a wedding venue beginning in 2019. The property spans nearly 50 acres near the town of Waxhaw, sitting just 2 miles from the historic district. The central structure is a custom cedar barn built with six stalls for horses, featuring a black walnut bar, full service kitchen, two bedrooms, living and dining area, and full bathroom on the upper level, dedicated spaces for the bride and groom to prepare in comfort.
The reception tent is a 40-by-80-foot structure on stamped concrete flooring, positioned to take advantage of views across the ranch and the surrounding landscape. Multiple ceremony options provide flexibility: a wooded area with a pond backdrop for intimate garden feels, an open pasture for classic farm settings, a manicured meadow, a paver patio in front of the barn’s large sliding doors for a structured entrance, or a custom pergola with a tree-lined backdrop. A covered barn patio handles pre-dinner drinks and appetizers, and an outdoor fireplace and two-level deck provide gathering and photography spots throughout the property.
Capacity & Layout
The ranch seats 200 guests and can accommodate up to 300 standing, giving flexibility for either seated receptions or cocktail-style events. The 12-hour rental window covers setup and breakdown, giving you a full day on the property to prepare and celebrate without rushing. Additional hours are available for $100 per hour if you want to extend.
The cedar barn’s upper level serves as the bridal suite with full amenities, while the first level functions as a gathering space for the groom and groomsmen.
