The Space
Brigalias is a family-owned banquet hall and full-service catering facility in Sicklerville, New Jersey, originally built by Frank Briglia in 1978. The property was repurchased by his daughter Tina Briglia in fall 2007 after time as a different venue, and she has extensively renovated and expanded it since then. The Camelot Ballroom, the largest space, features a raining crystal chandelier and was recently renovated: the original 9-foot ceiling was raised to 24 feet, dramatically changing the room’s feel and air. The Grand Ballroom offers a more intimate 185-guest setting with large windows overlooking landscaped grounds. A wedding chapel with natural light connects to outdoor ceremony areas. A Vintage Barn Pavilion was added in recent years. The aesthetic has evolved from the original 1978 building into a multi-space, wedding-specific facility with careful attention to detail.
We have worked this room and found Brigalias offers genuine space options that suit different event sizes and styles. The recent renovations and expanded ceiling height in the Camelot Ballroom make it feel contemporary and open.
Capacity & Layout
The Camelot Ballroom accommodates up to 300 seated guests and features the signature raining crystal chandelier and 24-foot ceilings. The Grand Ballroom holds up to 185 guests with large windows and views of landscaped grounds. Smaller spaces can be configured for cocktail hours, dancing, or separate events. The venue includes three on-site ceremony locations: the chapel, the Vintage Barn Pavilion, and open-air pavilion areas. Two on-site cottages provide private spaces for the bridal party and groomsmen: one cottage includes a makeup and hair suite, and the other has a pool table, arcade games, and lounge seating. The layout allows for a full-day experience: ceremony in the chapel or barn, cocktails on the patio or pavilion, dinner in the Camelot Ballroom, and dancing either in the ballroom or under the covered outdoor pavilion.
The multiple spaces and on-site accommodations for the wedding party mean less shuttling between venues and more convenience for everyone involved.
Amenities
Brigalias provides in-house full-service catering with menu options and bar service. The full bar includes beer, wine, liquor, and non-alcoholic options. The bridal party cottages offer private spaces: makeup and hair suite in one, game area and lounges in the other, so the wedding party can prepare and relax in dedicated areas. Two full bars are available: one inside the ballroom and one at the outdoor pavilion, allowing flexible bar placement and guest flow. Parking is available on-site. Modern restrooms and facilities serve guests throughout the event. Brigalias won WeddingWire Couple’s Choice Awards from 2013 through 2023, indicating consistent guest satisfaction.
Location & Getting There
Sicklerville is located in south-central New Jersey, roughly 20 miles from Atlantic City and an hour’s drive from Philadelphia. The location is accessible by car and sits in a suburban setting with hotels and restaurants nearby. The drive from New York City is roughly 2 to 2.5 hours. The setting is neither urban nor remote, making it convenient for a regional guest base.
The Camelot Ballroom’s 24-foot ceiling and smooth raised floor provide excellent sound characteristics for a DJ setup: the high ceiling allows sound to project and dissipate without excessive echo, and the large room dimensions mean audio equipment can be positioned to cover the entire ballroom and outdoor areas clearly.
