A Strong Start

best dj near meOur first wedding as Dow Oak Events took place at Dewberry Farms in Kernersville, North Carolina.

Courtney and Steven King’s ceremony was our first featured wedding (in Carolina Bridal Fair magazine). This marked the beginning of a major success streak for the developing team.
 
We couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with, and we’re glad they enjoyed working with us too! We really had a great time working with the Kings, and everything was so smooth.
 
Let’s talk about this cake though.
 
Amoroso’s Bakery in High Point totally outdid themselves with this. We’ve seen some crazy confections but this one really took the cake.

But what really made this wedding was all us vendors working together so seamlessly. Having a great team is one of the keys to having a great wedding. And when everyone works well together, it absolutely shows. And it was so obvious here! We loved working with Andrea Anderson and Amoroso’s Bakery.
 
With everyone working together, any stress is entirely removed. So we can focus on what we’re best at: the party. And everyone here was definitely trying to party. There’s nothing we like more than a packed dance floor, and that’s what we got here. We were able to play a good variety of music, from pop hits to classics. People were definitely jamming.

Final Thoughts

We never forget a good thing. And this wedding was absolutely a good thing. It was an awesome way to kick-start our on-going success streak. We couldn’t have asked for a better start. Getting to know every single one of these awesome people was something we’ll never forget.

And as a final note, we just need to say… We absolutely love what we do. And meeting new people and being a part of the personal touches they add to their wedding celebrations is why we do it. We loved being invited to be a part of this celebration. It’s always awesome to see how couples choose to celebrate.

We’ve learned that being a wedding DJ around Winston-Salem isn’t just about playing music. So we take our role seriously. Facilitating such a big day is a serious job! That’s why we always give every wedding or event our all.
