The rural Piedmont of North Carolina offers beautiful landscapes. These landscapes create a stunning backdrop for weddings and events. The Addison Farm sets the standard on beauty and elegance. This massive estate sprawls over the land without disturbing the natural splendor. Our jaws dropped when we first came to DJ at Addison Farm. This venue has so much charm and gravitas that we had to come back. Formerly the “Four Corners Farm” this farm has taken on new life from its previous cattle operation. The farm was renamed “The Addison Farm” after the owner’s first granddaughter. This venue is brimming with history that makes it stand out even more.
The Barn, The Veranda, The Lodge
There are three main locations of interest for your wedding at Addison Farm. Firstly, there is The Barn. Originally a cattle barn, this gigantic building has been renovated. It is now a lush, industrial event space. The rustic look is matched with elegant decor. It is “country meets class” in the best way possible. There is abundant lighting in The Barn as well. Plenty of natural lighting and six dimmable chandeliers. With the ability to accommodate 360 guests, you know you will get the most bang for your buck. This space is perfect for large receptions and indoor ceremonies.
The Veranda is the second option for those looking for an open air experience. This location gives you that beautiful, natural backdrop. It is still spacious for a larger group. We were especially impressed by the time and attention given to the custom wooden arbor. It adds that perfect touch of style. This location is perfect for your ceremony, cocktail hour, outdoor dining, or dancing in the moonlight. This space is versatile and can be used in whichever way you see fit.
The Lodge is the perfect spot to host a casual family gathering or rehearsal dinner the evening before your wedding. This extra amenities is a thoughtful offering from The Addison Farm. When you book with them, you can have access to all three locations. By using all three spaces fully, you can maximize your Addison Farm experience. We can host in any of the three locations or even all three!
Natural Features
It would be wrong not to mention the natural features offered at The Addison Farm. The farm is home to the headwaters of Buttermilk Creek, a natural spring-fed creek. This creek provides water for all the ponds on the property. You can get your waterfront backdrop while still getting your farm wedding experience. The covered bridge that crosses the water is the ideal place to get sunset photos.
