The Sage Farmhouse
The Sage Farmhouse, in its original form, was built in 1785, and is situated on 4 gorgeous acres in Media, PA. Over the years the home and property have undergone many expansions and renovations, including the addition of a 7000 square foot orchard, until being purchased by Kim and Jerry Fink in 2004. The Finks’ have a deep commitment to the care and preservation of this gorgeous property, and have, in fact, been awarded The Heritage Award from the Heritage Commission of Delaware County. And, they bring the same care and attention to the weddings they host! The Old Mill – Weddings and Events
Imagine gorgeous rock walls overflowing with Boston Ivy, gentle streams, lush gardens, a beautiful timber pavilion and rustic stone courtyards, all nestled in the peaceful woods of the Borough of Rose Valley, and adjoining a 12-acre wildlife sanctuary. Sounds like a magical place, doesn’t it? Well, The Old Mill is just that! A magical place to host a wedding, and one with a rich history! The old Mill is able to host groups from 100-250 to ensure the enjoyment and comfort of your guests, and also offer a bridal suite, exclusive caterer, is fully accessible, and has a one event per day policy! So, if a historic, restored, Arts and Crafts style mansion is the vibe you’re going for, do yourself a favor and check them out!
Parque
Deep in the heart of Pennsylvania’s 2600-acre Ridley Creek State Park, in Newton Square, PA, sits a dreamy venue called Parque. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and include landscaped gardens, and stone stairs and walls, a gorgeous reflecting pond, numerous flagstone patios, a green og ‘tennis yard’ and lush manicured lawns.The English Tudor style Mansion, is known as Hunting Hill Mansion, and can host up to 150 guests for a sit-down dinner. The interior is just as grand as the grounds, and includes spectacular architectural details such as, gleaming hardwood floors, an ornately plastered ceiling and an entire wall of lead-paned windows overlooking the exquisite grounds! It’s a bit like a magical castle if you ask us!
