The Space

The Windsor Ballroom operates inside the Holiday Inn East Windsor, a 201-room hotel that has stood since 1952, and the ballroom itself runs 4,200 square feet with a large dance floor and crystal chandeliers overhead. Hotels Unlimited, the family company that runs the property, started in 1979 with just 24 rooms and has since grown to eight hotels and nearly 1,200 rooms across its portfolio of properties.

The venue hosts one event at a time, with a dedicated Maitre d’ as the point person from start to finish, so a couple is not sharing staff, kitchen, or timing with a second wedding happening down the hall on the same day. The Courtyard, an outdoor space, is available for ceremonies and cocktail hour, and indoor ceremonies can also be held directly in the ballroom itself.

The Windsor Ballroom seats up to 220 guests, a capacity that fits a mid-to-large wedding comfortably within the 4,200 square foot room without the space feeling stretched, and the large dance floor built into that footprint means the reception layout does not have to sacrifice table space to make room for dancing later in the night once dinner service wraps up.

A separate Gallery area handles cocktail hour, keeping guests out of the ballroom while it gets turned over from ceremony to reception setup, and that staging, ceremony indoors or in the Courtyard, cocktails in the Gallery, reception in the ballroom, gives the day a clear sequence rather than resetting one room for every part of the event.

Amenities

Every wedding package includes a complimentary one-night stay in the Presidential Suite along with breakfast for the newlyweds, and up to 20 rooms can be blocked for guests at a special rate, with direction cards and welcome bags waiting at check-in, details that make the hotel side of the venue feel coordinated with the wedding rather than separate from it.
