The Space
Veronet Vineyards and Winery is a 70-acre estate winery that opened in fall 2019 on a property that was previously a pine tree farm. Founded by four families and managed by the Sullivan family, the winery transformed nearly two years of preparation into a sustainably-farmed estate dedicated to wine production and events. The main building is 6,300 square feet and features an open floor-plan tasting room with a 28-foot main bar and 20-foot secondary bar. A private tasting room includes floor-to-ceiling wine cellaring, adding a sophisticated backdrop to private events.
The outdoor setting overlooks the vineyards and surrounding landscape. A 70-foot outdoor patio and private wraparound patio create distinct outdoor spaces, and a ceremony lawn with a boulder wall and winery backdrop gives couples a beautiful setting for vows. The property opened its vineyards in spring 2018 and planted 7 acres of grape varieties including Cabernet Franc, Chambourcin, Traminette, Merlot, Syrah, and Gruner Veltliner, with plans to expand to just under 10 acres.
Capacity & Layout
The indoor tasting room seats up to 200 for formal receptions, and the outdoor ceremony site accommodates 200 for an outdoor wedding. The indoor space is suitable for all-weather reception dancing and dining, while the outdoor lawn and patios create flexible ceremony and cocktail options. Some outdoor tables are covered by cloth umbrellas in summer, though outdoor seating has minimal permanent weather protection, so planning for Asheville-area weather is important.
Ample parking is available on property, and the layout naturally flows from ceremony lawn through outdoor patio areas to the main building for dining and dancing.

Two bars on-site offer wine, craft beer, and non-alcoholic options served bar-style. A half-acre test bed vineyard on the property demonstrates the winery’s commitment to experimentation and quality. The winery practices sustainable farming with reduced herbicide and pesticide use, instead employing clay protectants, integrated pest management, manual weed management, and beneficial insects. All spaces are ADA accessible with accessible parking, seating, and facilities. Leashed, well-mannered dogs are welcome in outdoor areas; only ADA service dogs are permitted inside the tasting room due to county health policy.
