The Space

The Casey occupies a factory building originally constructed in 1922, with 22-foot sawtooth ceilings and steel-framed windows that Beau Monde kept in place through a $3.5 million renovation. Before it became an event venue, the building operated as Foundation Supply and later as City North Business Center at Keswick and North Tryon streets, so the industrial bones of the space, the ceiling height and the window pattern, predate the wedding business by a century.

The venue spans 25,000 square feet across two levels, with two large event spaces, an indoor bar and a covered patio that functions as an outdoor living room with its own dedicated bar. A 4,000 square foot catering kitchen, led by executive chef Sam Diminich, sits on-site, and The Casey is Beau Monde’s fourth venue to launch, meaning the operational side of running a large event here is not the company’s first attempt.

Location & Getting There

The Casey sits in the Tryon Hills neighborhood off North Tryon Street, just outside Uptown Charlotte. We have worked an event here, and that just-outside-Uptown position gives guests an easy drive in from most of the Charlotte area without the parking and traffic pressure of a true Uptown address, while still keeping the city skyline within reach for photos.

Ample on-site parking helps for a large guest list arriving by car rather than relying on downtown parking decks.
