Seven separate rooms give The Brownstone more range than a typical single-ballroom hall, and each one traces back to the same house, built in the early 1800s and purchased by the Clune family for 5,000 dollars after it was first listed at twice that. The Clunes opened it for business a little over a year later, and by 1947 it had become an established banquet facility, a run that has continued since.

In the late 1970s, Albert Manzo bought the property from the Clune family specifically to preserve it, and the building’s original character survived that transition: foot-thick walls, hand-hewn beams, and open fireplaces from the early construction are still part of the house today, carried through renovations rather than replaced by them. That preservation is part of why the venue reads as a genuine historic mansion rather than a banquet hall built to imitate one.

Capacity & Layout

The largest of the seven rooms, the Grand Ballroom, seats up to 400 guests, giving The Brownstone real range at the top end of wedding sizes, while the Red Room holds about 75 and the Conservatory around 40, so smaller weddings or rehearsal dinners have proportionate spaces rather than being lost in an oversized hall. That range across seven rooms means the venue can host very different event sizes without any of them feeling like an afterthought.

Ceremonies and receptions can move between indoor and outdoor space, with the English Garden available for outdoor portions and the glass-walled Conservatory offering a middle ground between the two.
