The property keeps a working farm’s character rather than dressing up as one: horses, goats, chickens, and miniature ponies live on the grounds alongside the event spaces, so guests are not looking at farm decor, they are looking at an actual farm.

The reception barn runs 2,600 square feet with doors that open onto a patio built around a grain silo bar, a layout that lets the indoor and outdoor parts of the reception function as one continuous space rather than two separate rooms. A white gazebo overlooking the pond and a customizable arbor that can be placed anywhere on the grounds give a couple two very different ceremony settings within the same 22 acres.

Capacity & Layout

Southern Grace Farms holds up to 150 guests, a number that sits comfortably in the mid-size range, large enough for most family weddings without the barn feeling like it is stretching past its intended use. The barn’s opening doors onto the patio mean that capacity is not confined strictly indoors, the covered patio and grain silo bar area extend the usable footprint on a good weather day.

Getting ready happens in two separate, well-appointed spots rather than one shared room: a bridal suite sits above the reception barn with a full kitchen, bathroom, cosmetic vanities, and full-length mirrors, while a groom’s cottage by the pond and horse stables has its own full kitchen, two bathrooms, a sitting room, and an outdoor fire pit. That separation lets both sides of the wedding party prepare privately, on opposite ends of the same property.

The onsite decor shop, called The Southern Charm, lets a couple borrow or purchase decor items directly from the venue rather than sourcing everything through outside rental companies, a genuinely practical amenity for anyone trying to keep planning simple. A sparkling pond with a fountain sits at the center of the property, visible from both the gazebo ceremony site and much of the grounds around it.

The farm’s animals, horses, goats, chickens, and miniature ponies, are a real amenity for a couple who wants that presence at their wedding rather than a staged photo opportunity, and the groom’s cottage overlooking the pond and stables puts that farm life directly outside the window during prep. The venue does require a wedding planner from an approved list, even though outside vendors more broadly are not required, worth building into the planning timeline early.
