The Space

Pomme Radnor occupies a building on Philadelphia’s Main Line that used to be a restaurant before Peachtree Catering & Events bought it in 2012 and rebuilt the interior, adding a covered veranda so the property could host events through the winter as well as the warmer months. Peachtree traces back to 1985, when Jon and Lori Weinrott, who trained as chefs in France, opened it as Peach Street Caterers, and the company moved its own commissary onto the Pomme grounds in 2013, so the kitchen behind your reception has been Peachtree’s home base for over a decade.

The grounds are wooded rather than manicured: tall trees, footpaths, a meandering stream, wind chimes, and a bridge that looks out over a pond with swans, all of which give a couple plenty of places to walk off with a photographer between the ceremony and reception. The ceremony area itself centers on a custom pergola with a swing built in, and the main ballroom carries the same woodland feel indoors, with raftered ceilings, hardwood floors, wooden globe fixtures, and windows that look straight out into the trees.

Capacity & Layout

Pomme Radnor seats 200 with room for dancing, or holds 350 for a standing cocktail reception, and the venue only ever books one event per day, so there is no shared hallway with another couple’s party and no rushed turnover between ceremony and reception. That single-event policy matters most for timeline planning: your vendors get the full day to set up and strike without working around anyone else’s schedule, which is not something every venue in the region can offer at this price point.

Inside, the layout moves a couple through a sequence of rooms rather than one open hall: a wedding suite for getting ready, a solarium, an indoor cocktail lounge that sits next to the veranda, and the main ballroom itself for the reception. That separation lets cocktail hour happen in a different room from the ballroom setup, which means your DJ and catering team can finish flipping the ballroom for dinner while guests are still mingling by the veranda instead of standing around waiting.

Amenities

Peachtree is the exclusive caterer and everything is made to order, with a full bar program that includes wine, craft cocktails, and local beers, plus kosher options for guests who need them. A bridal suite is available for pre-ceremony preparation, so hair, makeup, and getting dressed happen on site rather than at a hotel across town, and the property is handicap accessible throughout.

The covered veranda runs year-round, which is the detail that separates Pomme from venues where an outdoor space is only usable for a few months: guests can step outside in January and still be under cover with a view of the landscape. The venue also carries no noise curfew or noise restrictions, wifi is available throughout, and the property is pet friendly if a couple wants a dog in the wedding party.

Location & Getting There

The venue sits about a quarter mile from where Routes 476 and 30 meet, which puts it within easy reach for guests coming from Philadelphia, New York, or Delaware without threading through Main Line back roads. On-site parking is available, with valet service offered as well, so out-of-town guests are not left circling for street parking.

We have worked this room before, and the ballroom’s hardwood floors, raftered ceiling, and large windows give it an open, resonant sound that carries well for a DJ setup without needing much correction, while the adjoining solarium and cocktail lounge give us a separate, quieter space to stage speeches or a smaller acoustic moment away from the main dance floor.
