With five distinct dining venues to choose from, capacity is really a matter of picking the right room for the guest list rather than working around one fixed maximum for the whole property.

The course’s own scale, 6,746 yards, par 72, with a 110-foot elevation drop on the 16th hole alone, gives a sense of how much the site’s mountain topography shapes everything on it, including where events can realistically be staged. Ceremony space tends to use the golf course grounds directly, so a couple should plan around active course hours and expect a setting built into a working golf property rather than a flat lawn set aside solely for weddings.

Location & Getting There

We have worked a wedding here, at 4,000 to 5,000 feet in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and Boone, off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Asheville Regional Airport is roughly an hour and ten minutes away, which is the realistic travel estimate for out-of-town guests flying in, and the mountain roads leading up to the property mean local directions matter more here than GPS alone.

Between Belvedere’s indoor-outdoor pavilion design and the other enclosed dining venues, a DJ setup has real walls and a roof to work with in most of the property’s event spaces, unlike a course-side ceremony, which is fully open air and needs speakers positioned to project across open mountain terrain rather than relying on any surface to hold or reflect the sound back toward guests.
