The owners spent two years on that renovation, a project reportedly inspired by the owner’s own wedding experience, and the result sits directly on a seven-mile lake with nearly 6,000 acres of state park surrounding the property on most sides.
A lakefront ballroom anchors the reception side of the property, built with a borderless dance floor that runs the room, while the ceremony happens in a lakefront garden facing the water. Beyond the ballroom, the inn adds a billiard lounge and a stone wine cellar as additional gathering spaces, along with a lakeside terrace and an amphitheater outdoors, so a couple has more than one room to spread cocktail hour or a rehearsal dinner across.
