Erik, the owner, is a longtime friend. He handled it wonderfully. As someone that is a technical director dealing with shows constantly, he is top notch. He provided a form to make sure all of our music needs were covered. He was on time and prepared throughout the day of the wedding. Handled all of the details just as planned and kept the music rolling and had people dancing all night. I know I’m the lowly groom 😛 and maybe my wife will write a review herself, but he (and Dow Oak) provide a worry free experience.

Courteous, highly responsive, and super friendly! Henry was a true professional for our wedding. The ceremony had to get underway ahead of the planned time due to rain, but the playlist was executed perfectly. Everything from the requested announcements to the microphones went flawless. Henry also orchestrated our introductions and wedding game with enthusiasm and skill. During the course of the event Henry would communicate with us to make sure everything was on track. Additionally, during the 8 months or so that we had DJ Henry booked, he was super responsive and would meet with us whenever we asked. When we needed to tweak the timeline to work with our photographer’s timeline better, he unlocked our wedding planning documents so we could go ahead and change everything 2 nights before the actual wedding day!! We will recommend your service to anyone who would ask without hesitation.

Erik is an amazing DJ! He made the night a lot of fun. The music was awesome and he kept people out on the dance floor. He was super nice and very professional. He was fun to work with. He played all the music we wanted and was able to play most of the requests from the guests there.

Mason was a huge part of keeping the night running smoothly and making sure everyone had a blast. SO happy with him and Dow Oak!

Booking a DJ turned out to be the hardest vendor! We were torn between going with a band or DJ & I was very hesitant to book a DJ. I had been to several weddings where the DJ was “off” on the music & it set a bad tone for the day. With 3 months left till the wedding, we still had not booked anything when I stumbled upon Dow Oak Events on wedding wire. I was impressed by their high reviews, the amazing prices that they offered (especially compared to every other DJ I had contacted) & the wide range of services. So I emailed Dow Oak & within 10 minutes I had a response from DJ Erik, who we ended up booking for our day! Erik was quick & responsive to all our emails & questions. We set up a meeting to go over music styles & overall aesthetic that we were aiming for.

The most fun! Our DJ was so great! I loved the set up of their planning process and how I could add so many “must play” songs. The dancing portion of our wedding was probably the thing we looked forward to the most (besides getting married of course)! Our DJ was so great about playing music that got people dancing and we had such a great time thanks to them!

So easy and so great! Dow Oak was so easy to work with and made my life easier because it was one less thing I had to worry about. DJ Graham was awesome and listened to everything we told him we wanted. He was also ready with suggestions if there was something I wasn’t sure about. We had the best time at our reception and would 100% choose them again if we had to do it over.

Eric with Dow oaks was great! He made sure that everything ran smoothly throughout the night and played great music!

Got to have my dream wedding thanks to Freddie I was terrified of having a DJ that only played modern top 40 and the Cupid Shuffle. Freddie helped me have the wedding of my dreams with a mosh pit and lots of sad boi postpunk. Thank you thank you thank you Dow Oak Events for letting us have the unique, most “us” reception ever.

Great people and great music! Mason of Dow Oak Events did the music for my ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Any concerns I had, Mason was there to assist and alleviate any pressure. About 15 minutes before our first dance I had concerns that it was way too long of a song and he said it wasn’t a problem at all – so we shortened it on the fly! I received many compliments after the wedding saying our music was so amazing. All the music was perfect and I would definitely use Dow Oak Events again – and ask for Mason. Thank you again!!!
