Ryan did a great job and played everything on our list! He was personable and very polite. I’m glad we had him as our wedding dj!

Dow Oak Events is professional, affordable and perfect for your event. We hired Mason as our DJ for our beach wedding. He was so attentive, took requests, listened and executed our wishes perfectly. We expressed to him that we wanted our group on the dance all night and he delivered!! I would absolutely recommend this company and if at all possible, Mason is your guy!

I could not have been more pleased with our experience with Erik @ Dow Oak Events. He made the whole music process FUN during a time when stress-levels are at an all time high. Their website portal makes logging your selections super easy and you can write down exactly what you’re looking for in the vibe for your wedding. When I met with Erik before the big day and we went over every line. He made me feel confident it was going to go great. Erik is a great guy and an excellent DJ, read the room perfectly and I still have people telling me how they can’t believe they danced for 2.5 hours straight! My biggest fear was nobody dancing and boy did he calm that fear! I would recommend ANYONE in the NC area to book with Dow Oak! 13/10 would book again for any event

Totally perfect! Erik came prepared, listened to our requests, was professional but laid back, and did an awesome job researching playlists that fit what we wanted. He mic’d our officiant and had an extra mic that came in handy when things got a little spotty passing the 1st one around. Amazing DJ, affordable, and the dance floor was hoppin ALL NIGHT.

Erik was a great DJ! He did a wonderful job following our playlist and playing songs to get people dancing. My husband was really impressed.

The day was AWESOME! Josh and I both agree that you were one of our favorite vendor experiences throughout that day and Freddie in particular completely surpassed our expectations. He was able to not only roll with our (slightly abnormal) musical tastes, but he rolled with all the punches and surprises (enter the bagpiper that was unbeknownst to me) we threw at him. He did not just agree to do what we said, but he became an autonomous actor in the whole process, understanding what we wanted to hear based on our reactions, the little surprises we had for each other and for our guests, and on our previous discussions. At no point did we feel we needed to address preferences with him or ask for changes. He had seamless music transitions, a great presence at the reception, and was both professional and friendly.

Our experience with Henry was great! He gauged the crowd very well and kept our preferences in mind, even with the hounding of some of my guests. The music was so on par, in fact, that the announcements of the bridal part had an impromptu “Rocketman” breakout before they started! It was one of the best parts of the night and I really enjoyed having him as my DJ.

Erik was quite accommodating and very responsive. Top notch and flexible.

Dow Oak and especially Henry were phenomenal! He was so helpful and friendly. And when we talked before the big day he really helped quell the anxiety!! And everything ended up going soo smoothly which was AWESOME. The dance floor was crowded all night and everyone was singing along and dancing and it was really just so great. Everyone should go with Dow Oak Events for their wedding, and Henry! (If he’s available!!)

We met Erick about one month before our wedding, he only thought we were a little crazy for hiring a DJ that close to our wedding day, he introduced us to Mason that week. We really aren’t planners but that’s OK, Dow Oak Events made up for that. They have thought of everything; they provided a wedding planner which lists every part of the ceremony and reception. If you have specific music you would like, they will find it, if you don’t, they will provide what you need. Mason was very attentive during the reception to make sure the music changed from “cocktail hour” to “dinner music” when we were ready and then to dance music. We had a small wedding group and Mason still managed to play music to get our friends on the dance floor. Mason was organized before and during our wedding, friendly, and professional.
