Freddie was our DJ with dow oak events – and let me just tell you, I don’t think we could have picked a better person to handle our music. He really got our vibe. Also, he was very amenable to last minute requests for songs, announcements, etc. Dow Oaks has an amazing website with a client portal for organizing your event, and they’re really helpful when it comes to walking you through it step by step. Great experience with this company as a whole, but I can’t reccomend Freddie enough! Definitely one our favorite vendors!

Erik was awesome! We met Erik in the very early stages of Dow Oak starting and it’s no wonder it has taken off! Erik was with us every step of the way and made it all about us. He was truly flexible especially when mother nature decided to drop a few inches of snow at the end of March. You would have thought we planned our day that way. From the ceremony to reception, everything was seamless. Once the party got going, it was like he knew what we were thinking. We left a lot of the music up to him and he did not disappoint. We would throw another wedding just for the music. Step 1 of your vendor search is to hire these guys!

Seriously, Dow Oak and specifically Freddie were INCREDIBLE. One month before the big day and our previously booked DJ BAILED! Dow Oak emailed back almost immediately after the inquiry and within two days we had banged out a contract and gotten the ball rolling- crisis adverted! I cannot say enough about the outstanding communication of the company! The week before the wedding Freddie reached out to firm up our plans and meet for a face to face, normal run of the mill stuff. NOTHING could have prepared us for what a rockstar he would be the day of. Not only was he a GREAT DJ and a super sweet human, he was valuable (and willing!) set of hands when it started pouring rain five minutes before the outdoor ceremony. He was flexible and extremely accommodating.

He kept the party alive and everyone was dancing until the minute we were leaving the venue. He played all of our requests and read the room perfectly. Thank you Ryan!

WOW WOW WOW! Met all expectations! I have personally worked with Dow Oak Events and I knew I had to have them at my own wedding. The ceremony and reception were flawless. Everything transitioned nicely. Erik even went out of his way to make sure I had the exact (cover) song for us to walk down the aisle. They were on time and played all the right songs. Wonderful job and good company.

I had such a great experience with Dow Oaks from the moment I booked them. I was seriously impressed with the speediness of their responses to every question I had. They have you fill out a form so that they know your music taste and requests for the wedding. Music was one of the more important details of the wedding for my husband, and he was very pleased. They even call before the wedding to make sure they have the details and name pronunciations correct. DJ Erok was awesome! Our timeline ran behind but he still made sure that we got some good dancing in, which was important to me! The dance floor lighting really set the mood too. Everyone had a blast at our wedding! Erik did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding! We hired him sort of last minute as our other DJ fell through, but I am SO GLAD that we found him! He worked with me tirelessly before the wedding to make sure he knew what songs we wanted to be played. I was even texting him last-minute corrections on the day of the wedding, and he responded quickly and calmly – two VERY important things for a bride! He did a great job “reading the crowd,” and kept us all dancing long into the night. Several of my friends remarked that the dance floor stayed crowded all night, and even went as far as to say that it was the best dance party at a wedding that they’d been to. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with Erik’s services and would not hesitate to hire him again!

Erik was the perfect DJ for my wedding. His playlist was spot on, he helped move the evening forward without stealing the show, and went above and beyond. I will definitely recommend him to friends and family!
