DJ Erick is the best! He saved the reception! We had lost our venue due to hurricane Florence and the reception ended up not being exactly what I as the bride had envisioned. With his positive energy and “we’re going to make this work” attitude he made the dance party part of the wedding the best I’ve ever seen!

Erik is an amazing DJ! He made the night a lot of fun. The music was awesome and he kept people out on the dance floor. He was super nice and very professional. He was fun to work with. He played all the music we wanted and was able to play most of the requests from the guests there.

Erik and Dow Oak were a Godsend. At the actual wedding, Erik read the crowd wonderfully and got them up and dancing whenever we wanted or whenever things were getting slow. When it came to the pacing and scheduled music everything played exactly when it was supposed to with no issues. One thing we especially liked during the reception was how Erik blended the music together. It wasn’t just a swap from one song to another but a really nice blending of songs with one bleeding into another. I’ve seen a lot of DJs just act like a glorified shuffled playlist but Erik actually worked the songs and made them lead into each other. And to top it all off, he was incredibly affordable.
I would give Erik a 15 out of 10 if possible.

The most fun! Our DJ was so great! I loved the set up of their planning process and how I could add so many “must play” songs. The dancing portion of our wedding was probably the thing we looked forward to the most (besides getting married of course)! Our DJ was so great about playing music that got people dancing and we had such a great time thanks to them!

I had such a great experience with Dow Oaks from the moment I booked them. I was seriously impressed with the speediness of their responses to every question I had. They have you fill out a form so that they know your music taste and requests for the wedding. Music was one of the more important details of the wedding for my husband, and he was very pleased. They even call before the wedding to make sure they have the details and name pronunciations correct. DJ Erok was awesome! Our timeline ran behind but he still made sure that we got some good dancing in, which was important to me! The dance floor lighting really set the mood too. Everyone had a blast at our wedding! Hiring Dow Oak Events is one of the best decisions you can make for you wedding (or any other event needs)! The DJ for my wedding was Erik and I could not be happier with how my wedding turned out! Every time I spoke to someone, they were telling me how awesome the DJ was and they weren’t lying! He made the planning aspect easy and was always quick to respond to questions. We spoke over the phone to confirm everything before the wedding and then the day of I didn’t have to worry about a thing! He kept people on the dance floor and I was really disappointed when he got on the mic and told people this was going to be the next to last song because I didn’t want the reception to end!

I used Dow Oak as my DJ and for my photo booth and I would do it all again 1,000%. They were awesome! Freddie met with me in advance to get a feel for the vibe of the wedding, and then showed up at the ceremony and NAILED IT! The music was exactly what I love to listen to and we had folks getting down! They were there hours in advance and set-up and ready to go. Everyone loved the photo booth, and I loved that they brought all their stuff (table included) and that I got copies of everything in a photo book. They also emailed me electronic versions of the photos within days. Use them! The value, the experience, the fun, it was all there!

They were easy to work with, their planning tools were great and helpful to me in my planning process, and Erik was happy to customize the reception to just how I wanted it.
