All of that makes Hunterdon County, NJ a fantastic choice for a country wedding, if that’s what floats your boat!

The County also offers an abundance of hiking & biking opportunities, as well as fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and tubing! Not to mention the county’s huge parks, quaint river towns, historic sites, premier shopping amenities, and award-winning vineyards! The Farmstead of Ringoes

The Farmstead wedding experience offers the best of everything: an authentic atmosphere, beautiful scenery, fantastic and memorable experiences, and they do it all at a reasonable price, meaning more money in your pocket! And, a little fun fact, The Farmstead of Ringoes is owned and operated by a married couple with extensive wedding industry experience, and have been officiating weddings for over 15 years!

A few of the amenities at The Farmstead of Ringoes include: all-inclusive and full planning services, including a day of wedding concierge, manicured lawns and beautifully landscaped flower beds, fire pits surrounded by adirondack chairs, bales of hay for your guests to sit on for your ceremony, access to The Farmstead for three hours for your pre-wedding photos, use of their early 1900s farmhouse bridal suite & train stop “Man Cave” for groomsmen. But, the amenity that excites us the most is being able to use the Black River Western train (at additional cost) for your newlywed entrance, cocktail hour, or photographs.  Neato! All aboard! 

The Farmhouse, by Landmark Hospitality

The Farmhouse, an idyllic 330 year old historical estate, is positioned amidst 10 acres of lush gardens and towering oak trees. Originally founded and built by skilled craftsmen in 1685, The Farmhouse is actually the oldest known building in Hampton, NJ! 

As such, the estate exudes timeless elegance that is only outmatched by the warm and inviting, professional and experienced service they provide! The centuries-old pastoral elements of the estate are on display, and the property boasts the exposed beams, reclaimed barn wood, vintage fixtures, and soaring ceilings you would expect for a building of its era; while, a modern design aesthetic is infused into the space with their collection of contemporary art, trendy furniture, and crystal chandeliers. The Farmhouse is a beautiful blending of timeless old-world charm and craftsmanship, with all the modern conveniences you’ve come to expect!

Hunterdon Hills Playhouse

Hunterdon Hills Playhouse is perfectly situated on a ninety acre country estate in the rolling hills of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The playhouse is an ideal setting for any size affair, and can comfortably host anywhere from 50 to 450 guests, and as a bonus the Playhouse and surrounding grounds will be exclusively yours during your booking! 

There are multiple options for receptions at the playhouse, starting with the Atrium Room, which works beautifully for ceremonies and parties for up to 100 guests. The Atrium Room boasts vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and lush greenery, as well as an abundance of natural light and pastoral views of the surrounding countryside. From there you can step out onto the stone patio that overlooks the terrace, shimmering lake, and wispy willow trees.

While the Grand Room comfortably hosts 100 to 450 guests, and offers tiered-seating levels accented by brass railings, as well as high beveled ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, luxurious drapery, a commanding 700 square foot stage and huge 1500 square foot wooden dance floor!
