Joe Payne has documented more than three hundred celebrations since 2008, blending documentary wedding photojournalism with fine art portraiture from his downtown Raleigh studio. Real moments, quiet details, and emotional beats are the specialty.
With teammates Richard and Song, the studio covers the Triangle's marquee venues, Duke Chapel, The Umstead, The Carolina Inn, and has been featured in World's Best Wedding Photos. Couples praise the kindness as much as the craft.
